What was it that made you try the Morris?

I saw Trigg at my local pub, particularly liked the folk session afterwards, and thought......"I could do that!"

Are you a Dancer, Musician, Both or other?

Both/Accoustic Bass Guitar

What made you persevere with it?

The discovery of just how much fun we have!

None

Fieldtown (so far)

What is your favourite Dance?

Favourite to watch - Nutting Girl. Favourite to dance - Bodmin Riding.

What 'High Spot' do you remember since you started?

All of the sessions at Blisland.

I am the Trigg Morriss Novice (although many "new" dancers have actually been with Trigg for years!), and have been a dancer for only one season. You may note that I have no designs on my Baldrick as I haven't earned them yet. Maybe this year!
In the seventies, I played bass guitar in a couple of local "rock" bands and also played in working mens clubs all over the Scottish Lowlands. For nearly 20 years, I barely touched the bass, then a friend took me to the Minerva in Plymouth. I spent the next six months at late night music sessions every Wednesday night and treated myself to an Accoustic Bass.
What I enjoy most about Trigg is the chance to play music I wouldn't hear in the normal Scottish and Irish Folk Traditions.
